(see pg.1 in Mar.28 SVN)   
Federal / National Business
The Fair Elections Act is still being dealt with in the House of Commons; the proposed legislation has come under much criticism by opposition MLAs and law academics  Electoral Boundaries were finalized in August 2013: Sooke is now in Saanich-Esquimalt-Juan de Fuca (for 2015 federal election)  

Townsend Road & Sooke Road intersection continues to vex many in Sooke. This went to Sooke Council April 14, where a motion passed to ask ICBC & MOTI for left turns during designated hours ~ follow on Twitter @TownsendCorner
